2nd Generation

In 1991, nine years after the pajero/Montero first appeared, Mitsubishi introduced a long-awaited full model change upgrade to the 2nd generation. this marked an evolution based on the liberal use of new technologies designed to bring the philosophy inherent in the pajero/Montero one step closer to reality. One change was the development of the new seuper select 4WD featuring a VCU center differential. While further lifting off-road drive capability, the Super Select system distinctly improved on-road drivablity and created new 4WD value based on all-round enjoyment.

Along whit four distinctly individual body types, the pajero/Montero offered all-round driving pleasure to all types of users and allowed them to get maximun out of their vehicle.
